Régis Bello and Dr. Daniel Steck visited QVF |
| Régis Bello, chairman of De Dietrich, and Dr. Daniel Steck, managing director of De Dietrich Process Systems, visited QVF on Friday, the 20th of April. They inspected the progress in the shift of production from Stafford to Mainz and visited the new glass tank.
Dr. Joachim Korbach, managing director of QVF, was proud to show the currently installed new machines for coils and spirals for heat exchangers and the enlarged forming centre. All new machines are already implemented into the quality procedure according PED requirements. Our guests were also impressed by the new and optimised organisation of our stock for raw and finished products.

In the training centre for glass blowers Mr. Bello realised how many skills are necessary, not only to enlarge a small glass bulb, but also to form it to a sphere. He succeeded quite good by the help of the head of our training centre, Mrs. Scholles. |
Together with other QVF managers the board members visited the new glass tank for QVF products. They could see the production of cylinders in the 4 shift production and were impressed by the high quality. Especially the highly skilled manipulation of about 50 kg melted glass at a temperature of about 1600°C impressed them. |
