In the employees' meeting of QVF Engineering the Works Council Chairman, Horst Rienecker, presented the outcome of the Works Council's tasks. He emphasized the engagement of the Works Countil in interal projects and was pleased about the midyear results and the rather positive aspects for the future.

Dr. Joachim Korbach, CEO of QVF Engineering and Competence Manager for the glass and systems business in the DDPS Group, confirmed the evaluation of the Works Council with his presentation of the midyear balance. Development of sales and EBIT were described as very encouraging. Special positive effects on productivity and deliveries are expected as a consequence of the present projects on rationalization of production and logistics. He expressed his thanks to all employees being involved for their active contribution.

Looking forward, he expects an increase of new units in Miniplant technique and in systems as well as in service and upgrade activities in Germany. This will be the focus in the future.
